USPS SHIPPING: EMS tracking issue?

my package says Your item arrived in RUSSIA at 10:21 AM on August 17, 2009. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later. it has said this for 3 days!!!!!! whats going on?

1. well you have a tracking number that's obvious. is there anyway to get in contact with the party you sent the package to. i just sent one to california, from east coast and it said that. turns out they were trying to find someone to leave package with, (sign for) i didn't know my friend was out of town.
